Lifting the Beaker
After recording, the beaker is carefully lifted out of the cist. The archaeologist wears rubber gloves to protect
the beaker from contamination in case it requires sensitive analysis in the future. It is then displayed for the
press to take photographs before being carefully packaged in a box chosen to help conserve the pot.
