Medieval Music Reenactment

Thanks to many musicians, medieval music is still alive today. Using the combination of archive documents, manuscripts illustrations, archaeological finds such as the instrument key found at Thrislington, and various musical traditions ranging from folk to church tunes, medieval music is still being played today on the instruments which closely imitate their medieval ancestors.

Return to musician's gallery, instrument key and fiddle reconstruction or listen to audio clips of the re-enactment.
