Forcegarth Pastures: Landowner's Permission

A Letter of permission to excavate Forcegarth Pasture on Raby Estate land from Lord Barnard.

Before you can excavate you must have permission from the landowner and if the site is a scheduled monument permission must be sought from the appropriate authority, today English Heritage, but in 1970s Department of the Environment.

See the letter of permission from Department of the Environment.
