Forcegarth Archive
Excavation of a Romano-British farmstead at Forcegarth Pasture North has produced a large amount of material.
Artefacts, excavation photographs, plans and other documentation make up the site archive.
Throughout the Past Perfect website the most interesting and relevant parts of the Forcegarth site archive are presented.
In addition, we have also provided links to the archive table of contents through which you can browse for specific items.
- Plans and Photographs: On this page the plan and photograph archive is presented.
It consists of aerial photographs of Forcegarth and the surrounding area, excavation photographs, both of archaeological
features under excavation and excavators at work, and plans of the site and surroundings.
- Artefacts, Reconstructions and Recordings page contains the list of artefact related pages,
a series of house reconstruction sketches and a sample of recording documents such as excavation diaries and small find cards.
