Kitchen Pots

Pottery is the archaeologist's most valuable tool because its analysis tells us what people were doing on a site, and when they were doing it. This image shows a reconstruction of a pot based on sherds found on site, and the stone disk which probably acted as lids to seal them.

See the stone lids or return to the kitchen.
