Wark Castle: Indenture of damages to Wark Castle by the Scots, 1383

This indenture, or written agreement, is between the Duke of Lancaster and the Earl of Carrick who were commissioners for England and Scotland. It refers to the damage done to Wark Castle by the Scots and is dated 12th July 1383. The manuscript is held in the National Archives and is indexed as E 39/102/36.
